Zola Predosa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvinho Mangueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Josué Rego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliézer Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Divina Comédia FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvinho Mangueira in the 29th minute. After taking down the ball on Divina Comédia FC's corner Ian Moraes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Josué Rego quite easily take care of the ball. Ian Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Josué Rego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amedeo Piermattei who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Zhuang Shi Ting when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Josué Rego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes, Luisito Pistolelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Divina Comédia FC and the Zola Predosa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Hugo Flecken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zola Predosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Flecken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zhuang Shi Ting breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betão Catarinense during the 68th minute.
