Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amadeo Menendo made the kick off which started today's match. When Jorge Lop came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Echegoyen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Lop couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Roberto Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laniakea's Didrik Begum got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Echegoyen AFC's zone, Adam Sandbakken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Iraitz came out of the goal and Adam Sandbakken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Echegoyen AFC's Genaro Iraitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Echegoyen AFC from getting a goal against them. Didrik Begum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Genaro Iraitz made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Santiago Bilbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Sandbakken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Iraitz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Laniakea's Didrik Begum got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Adam Sandbakken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Genaro Iraitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Laniakea's Genaro Iraitz threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hans-Erik Osland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adam Sandbakken's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Genaro Iraitz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 31st minute, Laniakea's Adam Sandbakken dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Adam Sandbakken who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Genaro Iraitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Sandbakken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adam Sandbakken took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Iraitz. Genaro Iraitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Genaro Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Sandbakken in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Echegoyen AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Sandbakken came free, but Genaro Iraitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Sandbakken in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Iraitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th match minute, Echegoyen AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Abel to maneuver through the defense. Lars Kvaal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Iraitz having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Sandbakken in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Iraitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Laniakea's Adam Sandbakken in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Echegoyen AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Lars Kvaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laniakea's Adam Sandbakken got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Echegoyen AFC's Genaro Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Sandbakken in the 75th minute of play. Lars Kvaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Laniakea's Adam Sandbakken in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Echegoyen AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frode Nyheim during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ali Adjani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Reno in the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Echegoyen AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Roberto Veto hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Didrik Begum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Iraitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adam Sandbakken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Laniakea were the better team. Laniakea's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
