After 13 minutes CD Municipal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emmanuel Urruti who took care of the corner kick. Akademia Maliqi's Øyvind Skoglund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but George Forsyth in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Camus in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timoteo Lucero saved Akademia Maliqi from getting behind. Isaac Dalmases hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Emmanuel Urruti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for George Forsyth. CD Municipal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Akademia Maliqi's zone, Arnulfo Camus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Lucero came out of the goal and Arnulfo Camus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Lucero having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Akademia Maliqi's goalkeeper Timoteo Lucero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Camus. Øyvind Skoglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Akademia Maliqi getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Emmanuel Urruti hit a great ball. Arnulfo Camus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Timoteo Lucero made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Akademia Maliqi's Emmanuel Urruti got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 45 minutes Akademia Maliqi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oliver Ramon who took care of the corner kick. George Forsyth came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Akademia Maliqi's Alexandru Nastac. But to his dismay, Alexandru Nastac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

Kudret Hajdari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Arnulfo Camus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Øyvind Skoglund in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Ramon. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kudret Hajdari in the 58th minute of play. Timoteo Lucero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Benitez's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When Kudret Hajdari, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The George Forsyth was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. CD Municipal's Arnulfo Camus got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Øyvind Skoglund in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Akademia Maliqi's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Benitez came free, but Timoteo Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Lucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Benitez, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
