Palle Tazon charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Palle Tazon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Palle Tazon hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Camus in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Iraitz saved Echegoyen AFC from getting behind. Arnulfo Camus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Genaro Iraitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnulfo Camus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Fix Bolonga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Arnulfo Camus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute of the match, Arnulfo Camus got a very nice opportunity to score, but Genaro Iraitz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Camus in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Iraitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Camus in the 21st minute of play forced Echegoyen AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Echegoyen AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Amadeo Menendo hit a great ball. Genaro Iraitz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Oliver Ramon. When CD Municipal's Arnulfo Camus in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Echegoyen AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The CD Municipal fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when CD Municipal's Arnulfo Camus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Genaro Iraitz made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Arnulfo Camus sent off a good shot on target. After 38 minutes Echegoyen AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oliver Ramon who took care of the corner kick. CD Municipal's Oliver Ramon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Genaro Iraitz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arnulfo Camus might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Iraitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnulfo Camus ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnulfo Camus in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Genaro Iraitz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 47th minute CD Municipal were awarded a corner. Oliver Ramon went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to CD Municipal's Palle Tazon getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes into the match, Echegoyen AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Camus came free, but Genaro Iraitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Moise kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. George Forsyth acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marcelo Reno. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Camus in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Iraitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62ndth minute of the game Arnulfo Camus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Echegoyen AFC's Genaro Iraitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Arnulfo Camus came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the CD Municipal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Camus couldn't finish the play. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Lop, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Genaro Iraitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 72nd minute of the match. If Arnulfo Camus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Camus in the 74th minute of play forced Echegoyen AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Roberto Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Arnulfo Camus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 81st minute of play. Genaro Iraitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 85th minute of the match. Arnulfo Camus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Arnulfo Camus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Camus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnulfo Camus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CD Municipal fully deserved thier win.
