Ali Adjani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Raha during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Herbert Raha hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Fix Bolonga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Kvaal came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Sjur Voll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Arnulfo Camus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laniakea's Ali Adjani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palle Tazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Adjani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palle Tazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Frode Nyheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Kvaal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Camus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ali Adjani made a huge save. In the 48th minute, Arnulfo Camus made a precise shot to the right of Ali Adjani. Laniakea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Sandbakken was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo De Paul to maneuver through the defense. Didrik Begum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Adjani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 68th minute of play. CD Municipal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oliver Ramon in the 72nd minute. The corner led to CD Municipal's Palle Tazon getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Laniakea's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Camus came free, but Ali Adjani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Palle Tazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars Kvaal kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ali Adjani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palle Tazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Frode Nyheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lars Kvaal fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laniakea's protests and gave Lars Kvaal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Laniakea getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Lars Kvaal hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Arnulfo Camus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Adjani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idar Kvale made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CD Municipal's Edelmiro Moise. Arnulfo Camus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The CD Municipal fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when CD Municipal's Palle Tazon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
