Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eddy Laporte kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, KFC Vliegplein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endel Darmer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen in the 8th minute of play forced KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascal Vledder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinand Weijnants went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Foeke Toolenaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Clijsters came free, but Pascal Vledder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Schol hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Teo De Jonge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Digitale Dribbelaars. Reinaert Vischkens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinaert Vischkens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pascal Vledder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascal Vledder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Weijnants in the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge got control of the ball when Foeke Toolenaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferdinand Weijnants took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascal Vledder. Pascal Vledder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Pascal Vledder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Weijnants, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinhard Alards kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Miguel Clijsters put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Pascal Vledder.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Foeke Toolenaar made a kick off. With his leg Pascal Vledder managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when KFC Vliegplein's Ferdinand Weijnants fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of KFC Vliegplein booed when De Digitale Dribbelaars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Schol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teo De Jonge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascal Vledder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinand Weijnants in the 85th minute. During the 86th minute of the match Simon Schol completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Simon Schol a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Simon Schol kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Eddy Laporte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pascal Vledder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Weijnants in the 94th minute of play. KFC Vliegplein played a much better game than De Digitale Dribbelaars and deserved their victory. The De Digitale Dribbelaars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
