Arnulfo Camus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pascal Vledder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Forsyth was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, Tytus Grabski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Digitale Dribbelaars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Municipal the free kick. In the 17th minute of the match Oliver Ramon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascal Vledder skillfully saved the ball. Arnulfo Camus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Pascal Vledder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A nice corner shot did that Oliver Ramon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pascal Vledder quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pascal Vledder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Camus in the 30th minute of play. The nice shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 32ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Pascal Vledder had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. A collision led to De Digitale Dribbelaars getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Abraham Zandberg hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Pascal Vledder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Camus. After some careless play in the De Digitale Dribbelaars defense, Arnulfo Camus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascal Vledder. The De Digitale Dribbelaars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascal Vledder should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in De Digitale Dribbelaars's zone, Arnulfo Camus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Vledder came out of the goal and Arnulfo Camus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Camus got free with Pascal Vledder in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Camus made the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goal looked a bit too open when Palle Tazon came free, but Pascal Vledder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Foeke Toolenaars short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got George Forsyth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st minute of the match CD Municipal got a corner. De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oliver Ramon ran over to the corner to take the kick. CD Municipal's Oliver Ramon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pascal Vledder in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Forsyth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascal Vledder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Camus's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute CD Municipal were awarded a corner. Oliver Ramon went to the cornerflag to take it. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pascal Vledder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Camus in the 82nd minute of play. Arnulfo Camus took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascal Vledder. Pascal Vledder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Pascal Vledder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 91st minute of play. CD Municipal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
