The attack was good, but when Mihai Tâbârnă in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind BURITIS FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Unai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 15 played minutes GoooooL got a freekick which was hit by Ion Dulgherescu. The supporters of GoooooL booed when BURITIS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Unai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihai Tâbârnă's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Mihai Tâbârnă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Mihai Tâbârnă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gustavo Unai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carter Barillari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Mihai Tâbârnă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Unai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute of the match GoooooL got a corner. BURITIS FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Călin Senin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Prodan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Mihai Tâbârnă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Mutu in the 59th minute of play. Mihai Tâbârnă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gustavo Unai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute GoooooL were awarded a corner. Călin Senin went to the cornerflag to take it. Mihai Tâbârnă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Gustavo Unai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Mihai Tâbârnă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Unai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, GoooooL's Mihai Tâbârnă got a free kick in the 77th minute. Iker Madrid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihai Tâbârnă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 85 in the game by Mihai Tâbârnă from a close distance when the talented Gustavo Unai managed to make a qualified save. BURITIS FC's players were relieved. Gustavo Unai was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Ştefan Grigore capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ştefan Grigore really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Grigore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Unai was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Carter Barillari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Unai having to interfere. With his leg Gustavo Unai managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when GoooooL's Mihai Tâbârnă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mihai Tâbârnă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gustavo Unai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The BURITIS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GoooooL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
