After a defensive mix-up in KFC Vliegplein's zone, Martin Hjorth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo De Jonge came out of the goal and Martin Hjorth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinand Weijnants sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo De Jonge made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Lars Kvaal sent off a good shot on target. In the 30thth minute of the game Adam Sandbakken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of KFC Vliegplein booed when Laniakea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjur Voll didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Erik Osland in the 34th minute of play forced KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Laniakea defense, Eddy Laporte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Adjani. The Laniakea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Adjani should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute, KFC Vliegplein's Miguel Clijsters dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 59 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Kvaal came free, but Teo De Jonge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Sjur Voll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, one of Laniakea:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, KFC Vliegplein's Norberto Oskitz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ali Adjani. The supporters of KFC Vliegplein booed when Laniakea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Skinstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Adjani acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Endel Darmer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Clijsters in the 80th minute of play forced Laniakea's goalkeeper Ali Adjani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Adjani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Laporte in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laniakea's Lars Kvaal got a free kick in the 84th minute. Hans-Erik Osland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Erik Osland came free, but Teo De Jonge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Sandbakken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Teo De Jonge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Weijnants fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Adjani having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KFC Vliegplein walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
