Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Laniakea's Adam Sandbakken started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Godoy during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Piotrków Trybunalski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Godoy to maneuver through the defense. Ali Adjani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Czarnecki in the 6th minute of play. Carmine Polmone took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Adjani. Ali Adjani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Laniakea booed when Piotrków Trybunalski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Rode didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Laniakea getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Adam Sandbakken hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Laniakea's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Czarnecki came free, but Ali Adjani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Didrik Begum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hans-Erik Osland fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laniakea's protests and gave Hans-Erik Osland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Laniakea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Erik Osland to maneuver through the defense. Ali Adjani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Hugon Zjawin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piotrków Trybunalski fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Carmine Polmone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ali Adjani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loramendi Valdivia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Sandbakken's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Carmine Polmone notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Laniakea's Ali Adjani. Ali Adjani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Laniakea's Adam Sandbakken in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piotrków Trybunalski's goalie prevented a goal. Laniakea's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Didrik Begum in the 39th minute. Didrik Begum made a great header on Laniakea's corner, it was just that Piotrków Trybunalski's Loramendi Valdivia managed to reach the ball for a save. After 40 played minutes Laniakea got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Øksendal. Piotrków Trybunalski's Loramendi Valdivia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Sandbakken in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Piotrków Trybunalski were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zenon Czarnecki was the one to do the kick off. Ali Adjani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Polmone, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute of the match Martin Hjorth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loramendi Valdivia skillfully saved the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Laniakea's goalkeeper Ali Adjani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zenon Czarnecki. Loramendi Valdivia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Sandbakken in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Carmine Polmone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ali Adjani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Sandbakken in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loramendi Valdivia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lars Kvaal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laniakea's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Kvaal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loramendi Valdivia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Zenon Czarnecki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aureliusz Nowak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piotrków Trybunalski's Sebastian Jago was substituted for Zenon Czarnecki. Loramendi Valdivia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Sandbakken, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Sebastian Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Adjani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotrków Trybunalski played a much better game than Laniakea and deserved their victory. The Laniakea players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
