Ilirian Elezi made in the 2nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by De Digitale Dribbelaars's Jeffrey Zeevenhoven. After 5 played minutes Akademia Maliqi got a freekick which was hit by Ilirian Elezi. Akademia Maliqi's Timoteo Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Foeke Toolenaar in the 10th minute of play. Ilirian Elezi made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Øyvind Skoglund. Timoteo Lucero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Zandberg in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Akademia Maliqi's goal looked a bit too open when Foeke Toolenaar came free, but Timoteo Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Lucero made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen sent off a good shot on target. Foeke Toolenaar might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timoteo Lucero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Foeke Toolenaar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Foeke Toolenaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Timoteo Lucero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivón Echavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Vledder having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Nastac in the 47th minute of play forced De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Pascal Vledder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandru Nastac made a kick off. After some careless play in the Akademia Maliqi defense, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timoteo Lucero. The Akademia Maliqi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timoteo Lucero should have stopped the shot. Ivón Echavarri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pascal Vledder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes De Digitale Dribbelaars got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Grabski. With his leg Pascal Vledder managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Akademia Maliqi's Alexandru Nastac fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Akademia Maliqi's Timoteo Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Foeke Toolenaar in the 71st minute of play. Timoteo Lucero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Foeke Toolenaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Foeke Toolenaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akademia Maliqi's Timoteo Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Foeke Toolenaar in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Foeke Toolenaar notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Akademia Maliqi's Timoteo Lucero. Timoteo Lucero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Foeke Toolenaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Akademia Maliqi booed when De Digitale Dribbelaars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhard Alards didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandru Nastac got free with Pascal Vledder in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pascal Vledder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oran Tahiri in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Nastac came free, but Pascal Vledder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The De Digitale Dribbelaars players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
