A collision led to Dromes FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Edgard Monteiro hit a great ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raimundo Guimarães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Pinho got free with Atilano Benat in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pinho in the 26th minute of play forced Dromes FC's goalkeeper Atilano Benat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Murilo Fernandes in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dromes FC's Basilio Virila. When Cléberson do Valle fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agua Santa's protests and gave Cléberson do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Cléberson do Valle hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Tomé Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Guimarães in the 43rd minute of the match. Tomé Mota came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Dromes FC's Raimundo Guimarães. But to his dismay, Raimundo Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Guimarães in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Guimarães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson do Valle. Dromes FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgard Monteiro in the 55th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Basilio Virila heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 58 minutes into the game, Raimundo Guimarães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tomé Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Guimarães in the 61st minute of play. Raimundo Guimarães who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Tomé Mota when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Guimarães in the 63rd minute of the match. Atilano Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Pinho in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Jack Grealish notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Agua Santa's Tomé Mota. Tomé Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's Raimundo Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomé Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Guimarães in the 72nd minute. Humberto Lleir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomé Mota came out and tried to block the shot, but Humberto Lleir slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 90th minute. Olavo Vianna got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fábio Lopez. The Agua Santa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dromes FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
