After 9 minutes, Marcelo Fraco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desfachatados F.C. and the Dromes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Desfachatados F.C.'s Marcelo Fraco got a free kick in the 9th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Modesto Bingen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 13 minutes into the game, Desfachatados F.C.'s Clemente Orain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Benat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dromes FC's Atilano Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Orain in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Eustaquio Chinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Clemente Orain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Atilano Benat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilano Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Guimarães got free with Modesto Bingen in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes of play, Dromes FC's Raimundo Guimarães made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Bingen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes in the game Patricio Paz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Conrado Txurio. Modesto Bingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Guimarães in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's Raimundo Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modesto Bingen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Raimundo Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Guimarães received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Modesto Bingen came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimundo Guimarães slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, Desfachatados F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Txurio to maneuver through the defense. Desfachatados F.C.'s Modesto Bingen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Desfachatados F.C. from getting a goal against them. Raimundo Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Clemente Orain made the kick off in the second half. Atilano Benat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Orain in the 51st minute. Raimundo Guimarães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Bingen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. If Jack Grealish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Bingen having to interfere. Modesto Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Edgard Monteiro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's Raimundo Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modesto Bingen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute Jack Grealish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Bingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dromes FC made a substitution. Humberto Lleir replaced Raimundo Guimarães. Dromes FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgard Monteiro in the 80th minute. The corner ended in Jack Grealish almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Desfachatados F.C.'s Modesto Bingen did a great save. Modesto Bingen came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dromes FC's Humberto Lleir. But to his dismay, Humberto Lleir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 85th minute of the match, Robustiano Machado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Atilano Benat was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco Murillo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dromes FC's Franco Murillo got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Machado got free with Atilano Benat in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 94 minutes, Eustaquio Chinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desfachatados F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Chinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Desfachatados F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dromes FC.
