An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennie Buckler in the 14th minute of play forced Blackblue United's goalkeeper Aivars Tautvaiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blackblue United's Sixto Seijas got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Öhlmann came free, but Iker Mincho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Maximiliano Abuleta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Blackblue United getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tomas Öhlmann hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Iker Mincho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mariano Verón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Lennie Buckler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aivars Tautvaiss. Blackblue United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennie Buckler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sixto Seijas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Mincho having to make a save. Iker Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Seijas in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Lennie Buckler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivars Tautvaiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Öhlmann kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Tomas Öhlmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Mincho having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sixto Seijas to strike the kick off in the second half. Iker Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Seijas in the 54th minute of play. Sixto Seijas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute Daniel Ghițescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivars Tautvaiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aivars Tautvaiss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Ghițescu's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alvarado de Mar del Plata's zone, Sixto Seijas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Mincho came out of the goal and Sixto Seijas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Alvarado de Mar del Plata got a corner. Blackblue United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lennie Buckler ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Lennie Buckler to fire away a dangerous shot which Aivars Tautvaiss despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 74 played minutes Alvarado de Mar del Plata got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Isadore. Tomas Öhlmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Mincho having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Mariano Verón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Lennie Buckler sped through Blackblue United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aivars Tautvaiss. In the 88th minute, González Llarena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Daniel Ghițescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Alvarado de Mar del Plata players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
