In the 14th minute, David Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16thth minute of the game Geovani do Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devoto club social's Victoriano Horado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the game's 18th minute Lunáticos FC's Benjamim Gaúcho took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Victoriano Horado and thus the score was 0-2. Fermin Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Fințescu having to interfere. Fermin Tauro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Răzvan Fințescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Tauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Diego Honesto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lunáticos FC's Răzvan Fințescu did a great save. Devoto club social's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardino Erramun in the 31st minute. The corner led Devoto club social's Bernardino Erramun to fire away a dangerous shot which Răzvan Fințescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Victoriano Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Emanuel Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Răzvan Fințescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Natanael Maciel tried in the game's 40th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Răzvan Fințescu. An annoying self made goal, 1-2. David Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Răzvan Fințescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geovani do Nascimento made a kick off. Devoto club social's Emanuel Gartzen got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Irrintzi in the 53rd minute of play forced Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Răzvan Fințescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lunáticos FC's Christiano Pombal got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes, Walmir Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lunáticos FC and the Devoto club social players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Lunáticos FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Britto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natanael Maciel during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victoriano Horado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Devoto club social made a substitution. Venancio Brion replaced Fermin Tauro. After a rather tough play, Devoto club social's Eustaquio Bernal got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute of the match, Geovani do Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victoriano Horado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Geovani do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Victoriano Horado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunáticos FC. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
