After 4 minutes of play, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Kang Feng made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the game, Kang Feng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Teodoro Meireles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teodoro Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kang Feng in the 11th minute. When Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Kang Feng in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Rolando Hodei got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Alvarado de Mar del Plata fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Kang Feng looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 40 minutes into the match, Kang Feng dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodoro Meireles, 7-0. Lennie Buckler in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teodoro Meireles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Teodoro Meireles made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rolando Hodei sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Mariano Verón was substituted for Rolando Hodei. Alvarado de Mar del Plata made a substitution. Daniel Ghițescu replaced Kang Feng. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Wellington Guerra was substituted for Jacobo Vincent. Teodoro Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Ghițescu in the 53rd minute of the match. Teodoro Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Isadore, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Teodoro Meireles came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Daniel Ghițescu. But to his dismay, Daniel Ghițescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 63 minutes into the match, Daniel Ghițescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Meireles. Bandeirinha AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Ghițescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. 69 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Ghițescu came free, but Teodoro Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Tymoteusz Gonsiewski got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennie Buckler in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Ghițescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Meireles was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Mariano Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Verón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Daniel Ghițescu sped through Bandeirinha AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodoro Meireles. In the 87th minute, Daniel Ghițescu made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Meireles. Bandeirinha AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. In the 92nd minute Mariano Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Ghițescu scored 13-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Lennie Buckler came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Alvarado de Mar del Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennie Buckler couldn't finish the play. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
