In the 14th minute, Christiano Pombal made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Meireles. Bandeirinha AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 23rd minute Walmir Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Lago in the 31st minute of play. Teodoro Meireles came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lunáticos FC's Walmir Britto. But to his dismay, Walmir Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. João Francisco Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Falcão Gaspar hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Britto came free, but Teodoro Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Paraíba came free, but Teodoro Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Pombal in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Falcão Gaspar to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Lunáticos FC's Christiano Pombal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodoro Meireles. That made the score 0-7 after 52 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiano Pombal got free with Teodoro Meireles in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Falcão Gaspar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Răzvan Fințescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. In the 62nd match minute, Bandeirinha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Reis to maneuver through the defense. Joel Paraíba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Teodoro Meireles made a huge save. Teodoro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Britto in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Lunáticos FC's Walmir Britto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodoro Meireles. Teodoro Meireles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. After some careless play in the Bandeirinha AD defense, Christiano Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Meireles. The Bandeirinha AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Meireles should have stopped the shot. After 74 minutes, Ramiro Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandeirinha AD and the Lunáticos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramiro Coutinho hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lunáticos FC's Walmir Britto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodoro Meireles. That made the score 1-10 after 77 minutes of play. Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Lago in the 81st minute of play. Teodoro Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Walmir Britto took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Meireles. Teodoro Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-11. Teodoro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Britto in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Gabriel da Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandeirinha AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lunáticos FC the free kick. Gabriel da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Joel Paraíba got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 92 minutes of play, Lunáticos FC's Walmir Britto made it 1-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Bandeirinha AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lunáticos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
