With his leg Iker Mincho managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Devoto club social's Emanuel Gartzen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kang Feng in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Horado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Kang Feng in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Lennie Buckler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Martinezs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Iker Mincho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the game, Lara Croft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Devoto club social's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvarado de Mar del Plata the free kick. A collision led to Devoto club social getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Lara Croft hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Devoto club social's Paulo Beti got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Lennie Buckler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victoriano Horado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alvarado de Mar del Plata reached it. Victoriano Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennie Buckler in the 34th minute of play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kang Feng sped through Devoto club social's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victoriano Horado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Kante in the 38th minute of play forced Devoto club social's goalkeeper Victoriano Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Kang Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Hodei charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Hodei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Rolando Hodei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Mincho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Victoriano Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Kante, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Ghițescu in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Horado saved Devoto club social from getting behind. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Modesto Isadore was substituted for Enzo Kante. After 66 minutes Devoto club social's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lennie Buckler who took care of the corner kick. Bernardino Erramun tried in the game's 66th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Victoriano Horado. An annoying self made goal, 3-2. Devoto club social's Victoriano Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Ghițescu in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Devoto club social getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Dalmacio Tuste hit a great ball. Victoriano Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Ghițescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Ghițescu scored 3-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Horado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victoriano Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Brabec in the 77th minute of play. After 80 minutes Devoto club social's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lennie Buckler who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Salvador Salomon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victoriano Horado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iker Mincho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Gartzen's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Jakub Brabec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Horado having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Daniel Ghițescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Ghițescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Modesto Isadore hit a great ball. Iker Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97 played minutes Alvarado de Mar del Plata got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Verón. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Alvarado de Mar del Plata players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
