The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gilberto Rancaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaudencio Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Rancaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Santo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Gilberto Rancaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute Gilberto Rancaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Real Cantera's Victorio Mosen got a free kick in the 14th minute. The corner ended in Emanuel Phelipe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TiGrEs Fx's Franc Merlot did a great save. After 23 minutes, Gilberto Rancaño made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Real Cantera's Gaudencio Frichoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Franc Merlot made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Emanuel Phelipe sent off a good shot on target. Victorio Mosen made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by TiGrEs Fx's Mister Peet. In the 31st minute, Rolando Schiavi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 32 minutes, Hugo Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TiGrEs Fx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Quintana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorio Mosen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Franc Merlot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Phelipe in the 36th minute. Gilberto Rancaño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Frichoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TiGrEs Fx's José Madero got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Gilberto Rancaño struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gaudencio Frichoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TiGrEs Fx. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Rancaño was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute Emanuel Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franc Merlot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Real Cantera's zone, Gilberto Rancaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Frichoso came out of the goal and Gilberto Rancaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franc Merlot came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Real Cantera's Emanuel Phelipe. But to his dismay, Emanuel Phelipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Club Real Cantera's Silverio Gaxan was substituted for Paulo Milian. A collision led to TiGrEs Fx getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Edgard Estevez hit a great ball. Club Real Cantera made a substitution. Arturo Duro replaced Victorio Mosen. After 88 played minutes TiGrEs Fx got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Estevez. In the 88th minute of the match Emanuel Phelipe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franc Merlot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuel Phelipe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franc Merlot having to make a save. Club Real Cantera's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
