In the 4th minute, Giannis Chatziioannou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Matro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Abel Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Chatziioannou in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's Giannis Chatziioannou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Matro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plumerillo's goalkeeper Abel Matro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giannis Chatziioannou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Matro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Abel Matro came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sconvols United's Giannis Chatziioannou. But to his dismay, Giannis Chatziioannou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Plumerillo's Abel Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Chatziioannou in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Plumerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Lehior to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Marchesani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Plumerillo's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Chatziioannou came free, but Abel Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Giannis Chatziioannou made a precise shot to the right of Abel Matro. Plumerillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Abel Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Chatziioannou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Chatziioannou in the 42nd minute of play forced Plumerillo's goalkeeper Abel Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
Ermegildo Lehior made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sconvols United's Francesco Bevilacqua. The throw-in from Francesco Bevilacqua in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Plumerillo's Eugeniusz Koczara. If Giannis Chatziioannou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Giannis Chatziioannou could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Abel Matro however easily saved by the left post. Giannis Chatziioannou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Matro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If Giannis Chatziioannou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 59 minutes, Olivier Bigler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sconvols United and the Plumerillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Giannis Chatziioannou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Abel Matro made a huge save. In the 71st minute of the match Sconvols United got a corner. Plumerillo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giannis Chatziioannou ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 74th minute, Giannis Chatziioannou reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abel Matro. The goal made the score 0-7. 78 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Lehior threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sconvols United's Francesco Bevilacqua quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A hard shot 81 in the game by Giannis Chatziioannou from a close distance when the talented Abel Matro managed to make a qualified save. Plumerillo's players were relieved. If Olivier Bigler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugeniusz Koczara's late challenge caught a Sconvols United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugeniusz Koczara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sconvols United booed when Plumerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Koczara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Chatziioannou's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Abel Matro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sconvols United played a much better game than Plumerillo and deserved their victory. The Plumerillo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
