Arsenio Erico was slow to take the kick. During this time Sportivo Constitución's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Arsenio Erico almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Black Diamond's Dick Vedholm did a great save. After 10 minutes, Norberto Theodore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Constitución and the Black Diamond players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Norberto Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Erico in the 18th minute of play forced Black Diamond's goalkeeper Dick Vedholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sportivo Constitución's Apolo Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akın Turhan in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Black Diamond booed when Sportivo Constitución was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Theodore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Diamond's Dick Vedholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Erico in the 31st minute of play. Apolo Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Hortopan in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Black Diamond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akın Turhan to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Raul Moise notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Black Diamond's Dick Vedholm. Dick Vedholm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Raul Moise made a precise shot to the right of Dick Vedholm. Black Diamond's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Moise stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 80th minute Godofredo Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Black Diamond got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Dima. After 85 played minutes Sportivo Constitución got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Theodore. 88 minutes into the match, Sportivo Constitución's goal looked a bit too open when Akın Turhan came free, but Apolo Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Moromete in the 89th minute of the match. During the 90th minute of the match Arsenio Erico completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arsenio Erico a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Arsenio Erico kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Apolo Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hurko Longo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pompiliu Moromete took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Aguirre. Apolo Aguirre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Sportivo Constitución were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Black Diamond's much stronger midfield.
