After taking down the ball on istanbulls's corner Ferdi Coşan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronny Tiger quite easily take care of the ball. Ertan İdrisoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gogo Dancer to make the kick off.
