Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gösta Lundberg made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gösta Lundberg in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göksel Canfeda saved istanbulls from getting behind. With a little luck, istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda got control of the ball when Örjan Johansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mike Cassar Torreggiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes Blåvitt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferdi Coşan who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Örjan Johansson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Göksel Canfeda to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute Michel Lundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göksel Canfeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Cassar Torreggiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkay Şahiner in the 24th minute of the match. Göksel Canfeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Lundberg in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. Mike Cassar Torreggiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Coşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gösta Lundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Göksel Canfeda made a huge save. In the 39th minute Michel Lundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göksel Canfeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patric Bierhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mike Cassar Torreggiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patric Bierhoff to strike the kick off in the second half. istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Lundberg in the 53rd minute of play. The corner ended in Ferdi Coşan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani did a great save. Örjan Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mike Cassar Torreggiani came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by istanbulls's Berkay Şahiner. But to his dismay, Berkay Şahiner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Mike Cassar Torreggiani was a little too slow when Alp Enginalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-2. Alp Enginalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani made a huge save. A collision led to istanbulls getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Patric Bierhoff hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Örjan Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göksel Canfeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blåvitt's Gösta Lundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Lundberg in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göksel Canfeda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Örjan Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
