Geronimo Txindoki hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Alp Enginalp could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Caupolicán Damjan however easily saved by the left post. Ferdi Coşan's late challenge caught a CF Scalonetos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdi Coşan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Coşan to maneuver through the defense. If Alp Enginalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caupolicán Damjan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Bierhoff in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to istanbulls getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ferdi Coşan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Carvalho in the 35th minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute of the match, Patric Bierhoff tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Caupolicán Damjan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 40 minutes into the match, Patric Bierhoff notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CF Scalonetos's Caupolicán Damjan. Caupolicán Damjan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caupolicán Damjan stood somewhat misplaced when Patric Bierhoff came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 46 minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Gabriel Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Tiago Gabriel Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göksel Canfeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CF Scalonetos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celso Salomon in the 55th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Raul Jaizki heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. CF Scalonetos's Tiago Gabriel Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caupolicán Damjan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alp Enginalp in the 59th minute of play. Patric Bierhoff struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Caupolicán Damjan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for istanbulls. Caupolicán Damjan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patric Bierhoff in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Latif Şakir to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Gabriel Carvalho in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göksel Canfeda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alp Enginalp in the 70th minute of play forced CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Caupolicán Damjan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patric Bierhoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caupolicán Damjan having to interfere. Caupolicán Damjan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caupolicán Damjan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patric Bierhoff went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. istanbulls's Patric Bierhoff got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Ramon Gil got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 93 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Carvalho. Caupolicán Damjan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alp Enginalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. istanbulls fully deserved thier win.
