After 14 played minutes Colosos Afc got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Abancens. Thanos Pappageorge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Drumcode's Thanos Pappageorge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Drumcode from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Drumcode's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Gaufred came free, but Thanos Pappageorge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Dante Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanos Pappageorge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Colosos Afc's Adolfo Muc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanos Pappageorge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Drumcode would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
