The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, AC DeMiRHaN's Wen Nan Fan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcelinho Barral. Marcelinho Barral made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Whitney Flanagan sent off a good shot on target. Anson Anthony took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulk Speed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Werner Uhl, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurtis Villanueva in the 14th minute of play. Kurtis Villanueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral got control of the ball when Wen Nan Fan tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Uhl in the 22nd minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when AC DeMiRHaN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathaniel Cedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Wen Nan Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wen Nan Fan. With an all-out effort, AC DeMiRHaN's Marcelinho Barral threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wen Nan Fan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. AC DeMiRHaN were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Roceira SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wen Nan Fan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Kurtis Villanueva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelinho Barral quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
The wind increased when Whitney Flanagan made the kick off in the second half. AC DeMiRHaN's Anson Anthony proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save AC DeMiRHaN from getting a goal against them. In the 54th match minute, AC DeMiRHaN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liu Tian Zheng to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Werner Uhl came free, but Marcelinho Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roceira SC made a substitution. Válter Fontes replaced Ksawery Winnicki. Kurtis Villanueva was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Anson Anthony made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Fontes in the 65th minute of play. Marcelinho Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wen Nan Fan in the 66th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Whitney Flanagan in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelinho Barral saved Roceira SC from getting behind. AC DeMiRHaN's Anson Anthony proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save AC DeMiRHaN from getting a goal against them. AC DeMiRHaN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Hulk Speed scored to the left of an out of position Anson Anthony, making the score, 1-2. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Werner Uhl in the 94th minute of play. The Roceira SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Roceira SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
