The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Flink in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Mundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Lopidato FC's Maximiliano Mundo got control of the ball when Bennvar Nikkinen tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Renaud Van der Vloedt fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lopidato FC's protests and gave Renaud Van der Vloedt a yellow card for diving instead. Renaud Van der Vloedt kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With a little luck, Lopidato FC's Maximiliano Mundo got control of the ball when Bennvar Nikkinen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vic Jennes's late challenge caught a Plan B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vic Jennes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Plan B booed when Lopidato FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vic Jennes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Folke Flink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lopidato FC's zone, Folke Flink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Mundo came out of the goal and Folke Flink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Örjan Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominic Cornelis in the 31st minute of the match. During the 39th minute of the match Renaud Van der Vloedt completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Renaud Van der Vloedt a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bennvar Nikkinen in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximiliano Mundo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Maximiliano Mundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bennvar Nikkinen in the 43rd minute. Bennvar Nikkinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Mundo made a huge save. Dominic Cornelis struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Örjan Andersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lopidato FC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herman De Strijcker to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Hannes Haegg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Maximiliano Mundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Örjan Andersson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dominic Cornelis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. Bennvar Nikkinen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximiliano Mundo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Lopidato FC's Yannik Meersmans got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Folke Flink's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Mundo was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Folke Flink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Plan B's Folke Flink got a free kick in the 74th minute. Folke Flink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Folke Flink put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Maximiliano Mundo. Plan B's Bennvar Nikkinen suffered a concussion in the 87th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Vic Jennes got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th minute, Vic Jennes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Lopidato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Rolf came free, but Maximiliano Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Plan B's Ulf Lundblad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Mundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jens Westerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Plan B's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
