Thomas Mortier's late challenge caught a Drumcode's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Mortier helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 minutes of play, Lopidato FC's Herman De Strijcker made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanos Pappageorge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximiliano Mundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio-Roman Van Alboom, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to Lopidato FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Herman De Strijcker hit a great ball. Fabio-Roman Van Alboom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Mundo having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Fabio-Roman Van Alboom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Drumcode fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Thanos Pappageorge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman De Strijcker, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Lopidato FC's Maximiliano Mundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Lopidato FC from getting a goal against them. Lopidato FC's Maximiliano Mundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio-Roman Van Alboom in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio-Roman Van Alboom in the 41st minute of play forced Lopidato FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Mundo was a little too slow when Froilan Mino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio-Roman Van Alboom was the one to do the kick off. Viktor Beckman charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Beckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Viktor Beckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanos Pappageorge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renaud Van der Vloedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Froilan Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Mundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio-Roman Van Alboom, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Fabio-Roman Van Alboom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th match minute, Drumcode was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ksawery Witek to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 70 minutes, Dominic Cornelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lopidato FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominic Cornelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Drumcode's goalkeeper Thanos Pappageorge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominic Cornelis. After having played for 75 minutes, Teo Eguen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drumcode's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Eguen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Teo Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Herman De Strijcker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanos Pappageorge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Renaud Van der Vloedt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thanos Pappageorge. Renaud Van der Vloedt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. 96 minutes into the match, Drumcode's goal looked a bit too open when Yannik Meersmans came free, but Thanos Pappageorge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stephen Smidts got free with Thanos Pappageorge in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Drumcode were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lopidato FC for a fine match.
