Drumcode's Thanos Pappageorge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Gartzen in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Colosos Afc's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio-Roman Van Alboom came free, but Gaudencio Lope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Drumcode fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thanos Pappageorge should have stopped the shot. Dante Faron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanos Pappageorge having to interfere. Inocencio Barea kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The audience was convinced that Froilan Mino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaudencio Lope was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game.
