Tom Hermansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tymoteusz Mios having to make a save. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Paolo Tano hit a great ball. When Károly Bogdán came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the AZURDUY F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Károly Bogdán couldn't finish the play. Teodosio Iigo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Simon Bannenbusch sent off a good shot on target. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wofgang Kopitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save AZURDUY F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Simon Bannenbusch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Manuel Valerio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tom Hermansson was the one to do the kick off. KFC Uerdingen 05's Simon Bannenbusch got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 52 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wofgang Kopitz came free, but Teodosio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A wasted opportunity for KFC Uerdingen 05. 69 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Tymoteusz Mios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Hermansson. KFC Uerdingen 05's Tymoteusz Mios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Hermansson in the 73rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Hermansson during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes AZURDUY F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tom Hermansson. In the 82nd match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. In the 85thth minute of the game Tom Hermansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Uerdingen 05's Tymoteusz Mios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KFC Uerdingen 05's Chiquinho Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Banegas in the 88th minute of play. KFC Uerdingen 05's Artemio Banegas got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KFC Uerdingen 05's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Tom Hermansson scored to the left of an out of position Tymoteusz Mios, making the score, 3-1. When the referee ended the match the KFC Uerdingen 05 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
