Laurențiu Gaciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinédine Papoutsiadis in the 7th minute of the match. Bruno Soveral came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christos Perivolakis could save by the left post. Laurențiu Gaciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitris Skondras went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Exército Português's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Skondras came free, but Laurențiu Gaciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Soveral took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christos Perivolakis. Christos Perivolakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Laurențiu Gaciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Skondras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, MICE F.C.'s goalkeeper Christos Perivolakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Soveral. Christos Perivolakis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Christos Perivolakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Carvalhais in the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Abel Carvalhais took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Christos Perivolakis to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Meireles in the 41st minute of play forced MICE F.C.'s goalkeeper Christos Perivolakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Exército Português's Christos Perivolakis threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gustavo Carrasqueira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

If Armando Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurențiu Gaciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lv Hai Chong, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Laurențiu Gaciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Hai Chong in the 62nd minute of the match. Christos Perivolakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Exército Português's Aybar Hasret was substituted for Feliks Maurycy. After a rather tough play, MICE F.C.'s Panos Kavaliaratos got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute of the match, Lv Hai Chong tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laurențiu Gaciu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gustavo Carrasqueira scored 4-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christos Perivolakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Dimitris Skondras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MICE F.C. made a substitution. Iraklis Mortensøn replaced Isaltino Borges. Exército Português's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
