Mihai Gherase started the match with the kick off. Bernabe Nel might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Frascuelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernabe Nel ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Ferrauda's Kajetan Ochabski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ferrauda from getting a goal against them. FC Ferrauda's attentive John Paul West managed to snatch the ball when Jorginho de Amorim made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, FC Ferrauda's goalkeeper Kajetan Ochabski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordanis Anastasiadis. Papo Abalos got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Delmar Cordairo. In the 20th minute Octavia were awarded a corner. Nesor Abadie went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Octavia booed when FC Ferrauda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Paul West didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, FC Ferrauda's goal looked a bit too open when Iordanis Anastasiadis came free, but Kajetan Ochabski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Bernabe Nel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oscar Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Nel, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Oscar Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Nel in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabe Nel to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Octavia got a freekick which was hit by Papo Abalos. 54 minutes into the match, Iordanis Anastasiadis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kajetan Ochabski. FC Ferrauda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iordanis Anastasiadis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 57 minutes, Desiderio Handi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ferrauda and the Octavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Octavia booed when FC Ferrauda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes FC Ferrauda got a freekick which was hit by Michel Böcklund. Kajetan Ochabski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Gherase in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Mihai Gherase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Ochabski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Ochabski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Gherase in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Michel Böcklund fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oscar Frascuelo, passed just outside the right post. FC Ferrauda made a substitution. Fernan Tajo replaced Raimundo Gora. FC Ferrauda's Miguel Ángel Russo was substituted for Ahmet Baki Türksan. FC Ferrauda's Cristobal Osoro was substituted for Bernabe Nel. Oscar Frascuelo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Cristobal Osoro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Octavia getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Papo Abalos hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Ferrauda's Cristobal Osoro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Frascuelo. That made the score 2-1 after 89 minutes of play. In the 93rd minute Mihai Gherase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Ochabski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Ferrauda for a fine match.
