Virgilio Sotil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lv Hai Chong, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute of the match MICE F.C. got a corner. Villa Mitre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Panos Kavaliaratos ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil got control of the ball when Dimitris Skondras tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 played minutes MICE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Skondras. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Mitre's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panos Kavaliaratos was slow to take the kick. During this time MICE F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led MICE F.C.'s Panos Kavaliaratos to fire away a dangerous shot which Virgilio Sotil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dimitris Skondras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When MICE F.C.'s Dimitris Skondras in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Villa Mitre from getting a goal against them. MICE F.C.'s Panos Kavaliaratos got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Mitre's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panos Kavaliaratos was slow to take the kick. During this time MICE F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Villa Mitre booed when MICE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Kavaliaratos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Mateo to make the kick off. A collision led to MICE F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dimitris Skondras hit a great ball. Paulo Admon's shot from long distance in the 56th minute was not bad at all, but MICE F.C.'s Christos Perivolakis knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Virgilio Sotil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Skondras, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Menios Tsirkos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MICE F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 63 minutes into the match, Zinédine Papoutsiadis notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil. Virgilio Sotil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Zinédine Papoutsiadis came free, but Virgilio Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Sotil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zinédine Papoutsiadis went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Dimitris Skondras put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Virgilio Sotil. Virgilio Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Skondras in the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zinédine Papoutsiadis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Sotil was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Christos Perivolakis was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Gaspar Mateo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaspar Mateo really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. MICE F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
