Virgilio Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Gherase in the 8th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Mihai Gherase took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Virgilio Sotil to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil got control of the ball when Nesor Abadie tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Octavia's Iordanis Anastasiadis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgilio Sotil. That made the score 3-0 after 16 minutes of play. Virgilio Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Gherase, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iordanis Anastasiadis got free with Virgilio Sotil in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Villa Mitre from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Iordanis Anastasiadis put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Virgilio Sotil. Iordanis Anastasiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Virgilio Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Mitxaut hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaspar Mateo to strike the kick off in the second half. Oscar Frascuelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Resto in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Resto in the 54th minute of play forced Octavia's goalkeeper Oscar Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo got control of the ball when Moisés Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 minutes Octavia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulo Admon who took care of the corner kick. Villa Mitre's Paulo Admon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oscar Frascuelo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 61 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Iordanis Anastasiadis came free, but Virgilio Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihai Gherase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Sotil having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Nesor Abadie came free, but Virgilio Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordanis Anastasiadis in the 69th minute of the match. Iordanis Anastasiadis took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Sotil. Virgilio Sotil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Octavia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Gherase in the 79th minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Virgilio Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavia's Nesor Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Octavia fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Octavia's Nesor Abadie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Moisés Coutinho made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Octavia's Delmar Cordairo. When the referee ended the match the Octavia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
