In the 26th minute, Mateo Esiquio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Fribourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Sérgio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Steiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Luiz Vides was the one to do the kick off. If Emanuel Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Alagoano. Matt Metzger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sérgio de Azevedo. BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bruno Steiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Olympique Fribourg's Ant Koyak got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute André Luiz Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Emanuel Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BMB IMOVEIS SC's protests and gave Emanuel Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. Olympique Fribourg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
