Gabon Salantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but José Miguel made a huge save. If Cresitobalo Rilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Cresitobalo Rilo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Johan Schönberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şehzade Afgan in the 23rd minute of play. José Miguel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cresitobalo Rilo went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. C.A.M.P's José Miguel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.M.P from getting a goal against them. Cresitobalo Rilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Miguel having to interfere. Cresitobalo Rilo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Cusco FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabon Salantes in the 46th minute of play forced C.A.M.P's goalkeeper José Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şehzade Afgan during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Şehzade Afgan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cresitobalo Rilo to make the kick off. José Miguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maria Coronado in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cresitobalo Rilo in the 57th minute of play forced C.A.M.P's goalkeeper José Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Pyrzyce came free, but Johan Schönberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Miguel came out of the goal and Gabon Salantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 played minutes C.A.M.P got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Björklund. José Miguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Morelli in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, C.A.M.P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedykt Pyrzyce to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Edvin Björklund's late challenge caught a Cusco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Edvin Björklund helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes C.A.M.P got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Björklund. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Carlos Zambrano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cusco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Zambrano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Miguel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Miguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cresitobalo Rilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. José Miguel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cresitobalo Rilo's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. José Miguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cresitobalo Rilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cusco FC fully deserved thier win.
