Desmond Hume was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pacho Mondejar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Salud y República's zone, Wang Bang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Suciu came out of the goal and Wang Bang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Wang Bang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 19 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Nisio Riba. If Wang Bang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Carlos Suciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wang Bang in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Salud y República's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Osman Helvacıoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC's players had a chance to rest. Wang Bang took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Carlos Suciu. Juan Carlos Suciu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Bang in the 36th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Abdika Philip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salud y República's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdika Philip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nisio Riba made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Juan Dominguez.

When Wang Bang came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wang Bang couldn't finish the play. After 61 minutes 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cai Ocaña who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Salud y República's Cai Ocaña to fire away a dangerous shot which Desmond Hume despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mauricio Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ximen Feria hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdika Philip in the 70th minute of play forced 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC's goalkeeper Desmond Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdika Philip in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desmond Hume saved 67Olympique Meydanbaşı FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baha Pekiner in the 86th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Baha Pekiner notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu. Juan Carlos Suciu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
