Alwi Songgonau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pacho Mondejar, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Juan Carlos Suciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Rosendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nisio Riba made in the 6th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Abdika Philip immediately put the ball in play. 8 minutes into the game, Abdika Philip cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alwi Songgonau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Salud y República booed when Pil SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Lucente didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Pil SK's goal looked a bit too open when Pacho Mondejar came free, but Alwi Songgonau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Nisio Riba. Juan Carlos Suciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Rosendal in the 18th minute of play. Pelle Lindmark was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Alwi Songgonau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Ocaña in the 24th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Torbjörn Rosendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Suciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nisio Riba kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Torbjörn Rosendal came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Pil SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjörn Rosendal couldn't finish the play. Rey Guillotin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torbjörn Rosendal in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Suciu saved Salud y República from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Rey Guillotin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Pacho Mondejar made the kick off in the second half. Juan Carlos Suciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torbjörn Rosendal in the 54th minute. Rey Guillotin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Juan Carlos Suciu had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Torbjörn Rosendal from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hustaz Castrillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pil SK's Tony Berglund was substituted for Torbjörn Rosendal. Alwi Songgonau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacho Mondejar in the 71st minute of play. Juan Carlos Suciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Berglund in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Pil SK got a corner. Salud y República's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hustaz Castrillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Pil SK's corner Hustaz Castrillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Carlos Suciu quite easily take care of the ball. Alwi Songgonau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu got control of the ball when Tony Berglund tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Hustaz Castrillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pil SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hustaz Castrillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Tony Berglund made a precise shot to the right of Juan Carlos Suciu. Salud y República's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Pil SK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. John Grubb hit a great ball. Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Berglund in the 94th minute of play. The Salud y República fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pil SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
