Marcos Lorenzo took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Cordearo. Silverio Cordearo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 9 played minutes CA Quake got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Aznaro. El Golden Volvió! were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after CA Quake's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damian Urko took the corner. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Manex in the 15th minute of play. Teodosio Nuxila was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cayetano Aznaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 16 minute of play. Silverio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Manex in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the CA Quake defense, Marcos Lorenzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Cordearo. The CA Quake fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Cordearo should have stopped the shot. Teodosio Nuxila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Aznaro in the 30th minute of play. Benicio Balasi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Teodosio Nuxila skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 39 minutes into the match, El Golden Volvió!'s goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Aznaro came free, but Teodosio Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Abel Inko fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Quake's protests and gave Abel Inko a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Golden Volvió! booed when CA Quake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Inko didn't get a good kick on the ball. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Lorenzo in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Manex to make the kick off. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save CA Quake from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in CA Quake's zone, Marcos Lorenzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Cordearo came out of the goal and Marcos Lorenzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silverio Cordearo came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by El Golden Volvió!'s Honorato Manex. But to his dismay, Honorato Manex quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 65th minute Honorato Manex shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CA Quake's Andres Ubelteso got a free kick in the 68th minute. CA Quake made a substitution. Jacobo Mouricio replaced Victoriano Sustrai. CA Quake's Igor Jago was substituted for Abel Inko. After a rather tough play, CA Quake's Andres Ubelteso got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 73rd match minute, El Golden Volvió! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Buzescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute of the match Rogelio Sadurni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodosio Nuxila skillfully saved the ball. If Folkert Engelaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Marcos Lorenzo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 90 minutes, Hatemi Karlukhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Golden Volvió!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hatemi Karlukhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 minutes, Igor Jago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Quake and the El Golden Volvió! players grew even worse after the yellow card. Igor Jago hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Marcos Lorenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Golden Volvió! walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
