In the 4th match minute, real dixmuda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jilian Dewolf to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes real dixmuda got a freekick which was hit by Geordy Rouvoet. After 8 minutes, Timmy Vloebergh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the real dixmuda and the El Golden Volvió! players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerard Verhaghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Manex in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Folkert Engelaar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerard Verhaghe. real dixmuda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Folkert Engelaar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. real dixmuda's Gerard Verhaghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Manex in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Marcos Lorenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Verhaghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Lorenzo in the 19th minute of play forced real dixmuda's goalkeeper Gerard Verhaghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerard Verhaghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folkert Engelaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the real dixmuda defense, Marcos Lorenzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerard Verhaghe. The real dixmuda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerard Verhaghe should have stopped the shot. Gerard Verhaghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Lorenzo in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Damian Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Verhaghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerard Verhaghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Lorenzo in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, real dixmuda's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Manex came free, but Gerard Verhaghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Honorato Manex quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half El Golden Volvió! were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Manex to make the kick off. 0-4 became the score in the 55th minute when Conrado Tome elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gerard Verhaghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Manex in the 61st minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, real dixmuda's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Manex came free, but Gerard Verhaghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hatemi Karlukhan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gerard Verhaghe came out and tried to block the shot, but Hatemi Karlukhan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 71st minute. Marcos Lorenzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Gerard Verhaghe made a huge save. Gerard Verhaghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Manex in the 78th minute of the match. Gerard Verhaghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folkert Engelaar in the 79th minute of play. You Chao Yao scored 0-6 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerard Verhaghe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
