An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Stöckert in the 8th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Bolivar's goalkeeper Saad Dar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Balasi. Eduardo Ledesma hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Silverio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tedj Sellal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes of play, CA Quake's Andres Ubelteso made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saad Dar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Brett Cordrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bolivar's Saad Dar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Aznaro in the 30th minute of play. Cayetano Aznaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saad Dar having to interfere. Andres Ubelteso took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saad Dar. Saad Dar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Bolivar's Bruno Pasquino got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Rogelio Sadurni came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the CA Quake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Sadurni couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tedj Sellal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rogelio Sadurni was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Quake's players had a chance to rest. Bruno Pasquino tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Saad Dar. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-2 in the 87th minute. In the 92nd match minute, CA Quake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Ledesma to maneuver through the defense. Tedj Sellal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Silverio Cordearo made a huge save. Bolivar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
