Ábel Szentesi made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Bogumil Dankowski sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute Co Wielaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ábel Szentesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sébastien Marionneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaino Üürike, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Astral Roots Gdynia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tao Guang in the 27th minute. If Gustaw Tscherner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Czarne Mamby got a freekick which was hit by Luka Modrić. Astral Roots Gdynia's Co Wielaert got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miromir Magdziarz to make the kick off. Ábel Szentesi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Serwach in the 51st minute of the match. Sébastien Marionneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Magdziarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astral Roots Gdynia's Sébastien Marionneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Magdziarz in the 54th minute of play. Czarne Mamby were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Astral Roots Gdynia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miromir Magdziarz took the corner. Grzegorz Glaza tried in the game's 55th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Sébastien Marionneau. An annoying self made goal, 0-1. Sébastien Marionneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Magdziarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Astral Roots Gdynia's goalkeeper Sébastien Marionneau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vaino Üürike. Sébastien Marionneau made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jedrzej Plech sent off a good shot on target. Miromir Magdziarz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bernard Walczak was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. Astral Roots Gdynia's Marian Ciupierdo was substituted for Marian Serwach. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Astral Roots Gdynia! Astral Roots Gdynia:s Sébastien Marionneau showed great skill when he stopped Miromir Magdziarz:s penalty. After some careless play in the Astral Roots Gdynia defense, Miromir Magdziarz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sébastien Marionneau. The Astral Roots Gdynia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sébastien Marionneau should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Astral Roots Gdynia's goalkeeper Sébastien Marionneau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piotr Giertych. In the 71st minute, Co Wielaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sébastien Marionneau came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Czarne Mamby's Piotr Giertych. But to his dismay, Piotr Giertych quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ábel Szentesi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Dankowski in the 84th minute of the match. Bogumil Dankowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ábel Szentesi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogumil Dankowski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Czarne Mamby's goalkeeper Ábel Szentesi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Magdziarz in the 97th minute of play forced Astral Roots Gdynia's goalkeeper Sébastien Marionneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Czarne Mamby eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
