The crowd rose to their feet as Rhys Hughes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sébastien Marionneau. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Sébastien Marionneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Vides in the 15th minute of play. Angelillo Di Maria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Sébastien Marionneau made a huge save. After 17 minutes of play, FC NORDLAND's Angelillo Di Maria made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sébastien Marionneau was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 19 played minutes Astral Roots Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Benedykt Jarosiewicz. Astral Roots Gdynia's Sébastien Marionneau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Astral Roots Gdynia from getting a goal against them. Sébastien Marionneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Vides in the 24th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Astral Roots Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Tscherner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rhys Hughes got free with Sébastien Marionneau in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Astral Roots Gdynia's goalkeeper Sébastien Marionneau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelillo Di Maria. FC NORDLAND's Odd Ball suffered a sore thigh after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogumil Dankowski during the 32nd minute. The wind increased when Angelillo Di Maria made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC NORDLAND booed when Astral Roots Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaw Tscherner didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benedykt Jarosiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC NORDLAND's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
