Vincent Veenema kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Doğuş Vecihi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Sandu Stănciulaş sped through S.C. Potentia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Naci Ünüvar. 34 minutes into the match, Sandu Stănciulaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naci Ünüvar. S.C. Potentia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandu Stănciulaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 39 minutes into the match, Öz Bern SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Hindriks came free, but Kılıç Uğural reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vincent Veenema fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Potentia's protests and gave Vincent Veenema a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, S.C. Potentia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Veenema to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Kong Fan Chen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, S.C. Potentia's Naci Ünüvar got control of the ball when Sandu Stănciulaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match Öz Bern SK got a corner. S.C. Potentia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doğuş Vecihi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kong Fan Chen was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Naci Ünüvar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Stănciulaş in the 75th minute of the match. If Gregor Ranzijn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Hindriks in the 78th minute of play. Kılıç Uğural made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Fikkers in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandu Stănciulaş got free with Naci Ünüvar in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Naci Ünüvar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Naci Ünüvar was a little too slow when Sandu Stănciulaş got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-9. Sandu Stănciulaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans Geurtsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naci Ünüvar having to interfere. In the 95th minute Öz Bern SK were awarded a corner. Doğuş Vecihi went to the cornerflag to take it. Naci Ünüvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Geurtsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Gregor Ranzijn charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregor Ranzijn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
