Arnulfo Lugo started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Lugo came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timmernabben FF's Arnulfo Lugo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Botinho FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 10 in the game by Kaká Junior from a close distance when the talented Hílton Magalhães managed to make a qualified save. Botinho FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Timmernabben FF getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sylwester Panikowski hit a great ball. Arnulfo Lugo in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hílton Magalhães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Lugo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hílton Magalhães saved Botinho FC from getting behind. After 17 minutes, Arnulfo Lugo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Timmernabben FF's Arnulfo Lugo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaká Junior. Timmernabben FF's Folke Lövgren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hílton Magalhães in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute, Timmernabben FF's Kaká Junior dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Hílton Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaká Junior in the 32nd minute. Timmernabben FF's Kaká Junior was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Junior in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41stth minute of the game Arnulfo Lugo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnulfo Lugo's late challenge caught a Botinho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Lugo helped the player get up and apologised. Tomás Guillen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antônio Carlos Branco made a kick off. Hílton Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Lugo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Hílton Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Hílton Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Kaká Junior put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hílton Magalhães. Timmernabben FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Junior was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Timmernabben FF's Kaká Junior in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Botinho FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Timmernabben FF's Tomás Guillen got control of the ball when Bernardinho Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sakarias Stephansson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Allan Hallgren hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Arnulfo Lugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute of the match Timmernabben FF got a corner. Botinho FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Folke Lövgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. 88 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's Folke Lövgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hílton Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Lugo in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 minutes, Arnulfo Lugo made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Botinho FC defense, Sakarias Stephansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hílton Magalhães. The Botinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hílton Magalhães should have stopped the shot. Timmernabben FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
