Road To Glory's Ariel Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Stănciulaş in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes of play, Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kılıç Uğural was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Öz Bern SK booed when Road To Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandu Stănciulaş took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Venerando. Ariel Venerando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Road To Glory defense, Sandu Stănciulaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Venerando. The Road To Glory fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Venerando should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Stănciulaş in the 18th minute of play forced Road To Glory's goalkeeper Ariel Venerando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Öz Bern SK were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Road To Glory's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Doğuş Vecihi took the corner. The corner ended in Doğuş Vecihi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Road To Glory's Ariel Venerando did a great save. A collision led to Road To Glory getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gugu de Mendonça hit a great ball. Ariel Venerando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Stănciulaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Sandu Stănciulaş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Venerando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 34 minutes into the match, Road To Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Doğuş Vecihi came free, but Ariel Venerando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Venerando made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Sandu Stănciulaş sent off a good shot on target. Ariel Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Geurtsen in the 55th minute of the match. Frans Geurtsen scored 1-4 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Venerando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ariel Venerando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandu Stănciulaş in the 60th minute. Egon Markusson charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egon Markusson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Doğuş Vecihi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Öz Bern SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
