After 4 minutes of play, Verwachting's Twan Hesseling made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Netto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vincent Koekkoek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frank Netto. Tamboril's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frank Netto was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Twan Hesseling capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Twan Hesseling really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Frank Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriaan Kuypers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Tamboril's goal looked a bit too open when Twan Hesseling came free, but Frank Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Frank Netto managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Verwachting's Twan Hesseling fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Twan Hesseling got free with Frank Netto in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31stth minute of the game Twan Hesseling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tamboril's Frank Netto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldir Cearense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Tamboril's goal looked a bit too open when Twan Hesseling came free, but Frank Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Waldir Cearense notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst. Adriaan Kuypers was slow to take the kick. During this time Verwachting's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Verwachting's corner Christijan Schreuder fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frank Netto quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Twan Hesseling sped through Tamboril's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Netto. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Verwachting were victorious despite being under pressure from Tamboril for much of the match.
