Maxi Braga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriaan Kuypers went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute Alemdar Yavuzalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Hilhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alemdar Yavuzalp in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Hilhorst saved Verwachting from getting behind. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Alemdar Yavuzalp sped through Verwachting's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herbert Hilhorst. Herbert Hilhorst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alemdar Yavuzalp went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Maxi Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christijan Schreuder in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Twan Hesseling in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxi Braga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maxi Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Twan Hesseling in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adriaan Kuypers was slow to take the kick. During this time Verwachting's players had a chance to rest. In the 34th minute of the match, Alemdar Yavuzalp got a very nice opportunity to score, but Herbert Hilhorst was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 38th match minute, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. Alemdar Yavuzalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Hilhorst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ted Rijkaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s Iwo Drugi got a free kick in the 60th minute. Maxi Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Auke Oldenbeuving in the 62nd minute of play. Adriaan Kuypers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxi Braga having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Alemdar Yavuzalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Hilhorst. Verwachting's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alemdar Yavuzalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 77 minutes into the match, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s goal looked a bit too open when Auke Oldenbeuving came free, but Maxi Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxi Braga made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Christijan Schreuder sent off a good shot on target. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alemdar Yavuzalp in the 81st minute of play. Blas Venceslas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Maxi Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriaan Kuypers in the 85th minute of play. Christijan Schreuder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Maxi Braga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Christijan Schreuder didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 91st minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Christijan Schreuder ran dejectedly back to his position. Auke Oldenbeuving blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxi Braga having to make a save. 91 minutes into the match, Verwachting's Auke Oldenbeuving sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxi Braga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Auke Oldenbeuving received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maxi Braga came out and tried to block the shot, but Auke Oldenbeuving slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 91st minute.
