Verwachting's supporters rose to their feet, but Twan Hesseling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benne Cider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

In the 91st minute, Christijan Schreuder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benne Cider was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. 95 minutes into the match, Lobster if's goal looked a bit too open when Adriaan Kuypers came free, but Benne Cider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verwachting walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
