Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Twan Hesseling kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Henrik Stor threw the ball into play from the sideline. Verwachting's Hans Deitmers quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Christijan Schreuder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Edgardo Patxi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pelayo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Stor made in the 17th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pelayo Silva however managed to control. Lengua de Lobo's Edgardo Patxi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Lengua de Lobo from getting a goal against them. Ruud Geels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Edgardo Patxi made a huge save. Oliver van Kampen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Patxi having to interfere. Edgardo Patxi made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Christijan Schreuder sent off a good shot on target. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Buinton in the 43rd minute of play. Christijan Schreuder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Edgardo Patxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Verwachting from getting a goal against them. Jaime Nayely made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pelayo Silva immediately put the ball in play. With an all-out effort, Lengua de Lobo's Herbert Hilhorst threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patryk Dubilas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 72nd minute, Christijan Schreuder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Twan Hesseling in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgardo Patxi saved Lengua de Lobo from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Lengua de Lobo's goal looked a bit too open when Christijan Schreuder came free, but Edgardo Patxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes Lengua de Lobo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adriaan Kuypers who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patryk Dubilas in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Hilhorst saved Verwachting from getting behind. A collision led to Lengua de Lobo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jaime Nayely hit a great ball. Twan Hesseling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Patxi having to make a save. In the 87th minute, Pelayo Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Hilhorst was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Edgardo Patxi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Twan Hesseling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Verwachting supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lengua de Lobo's performance. The match ended with a win for Lengua de Lobo.
